Presenter Guidelines

1      ORAL PRESENTERS

1.1     Registration

Speakers will need to register at the registration desk when they first arrive at the congress to collect their name badge and other related materials. You will be directed to the computer where you must upload your slides at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled presentation. Please ensure that you refer the latest seminar program to confirm your presentation time.

1.2     Presentation Time Frame

Each oral presentation will run for 10 minutes (8 min presentation and 2 min Q&A).

Please ensure your presentation does not exceed the allocated time frame. The Session Chairs will time your presentation and give you signals 2 minutes before your time expires. It is extremely important that you run to time. Running overtime is disrespectful to other speakers and highly disruptive to delegates.

Presentations should be supplied via a CD or USB memory device. Our presentation system uses Microsoft Office on a Windows Operating System. The powerpoint will be projected on a 16:9 screen. You are encouraged to prepare your slides on this dimension to optimise the projection areas.
